hi While taking a flight from New Delhi to Mumbai I got the chance the meet one of the few successful young entrepreneurs of India, Mr. Himanshu Verma the Founder and Chief Managing Director of Navrattan group. The man of great enthusiasm and zeal, the one who is always willing to bring some kind of innovative change to protect the environment and introduce alternative sources of energy generation has deep rooted values and enormous love for the nation.
We spoke about his vision and his ventures in India. Under the keen guidance and leadership of Mr. Himanshu Verma, Navrattan Blue Crete Industries Pvt. Ltd. (NBCI) has been able to successfully license the green cement technology, invented in Florida, USA, for the first time in India. NBCI holds the master license for India and several other Asian countries and they expect to have the first operational plant producing 1,000,000 metric tons per year; and by the end of the year, they expect to have seven plants fully operational. The Navrattan Blue Crete cement is the complete replacement of traditional OPC and is much safer, cheaper, reliable and stronger than Portland cement.
“This Eco-friendly cement technology is set to change a century old cement industry in India”, said Mr. Himanshu Verma in a very confident voice. It is his this positivity and confidence in himself which has taken him from a small town in Punjab to leave a mark in India and abroad.
